CEO Wynne Nowland Bylines an Article for BOSS Magazine

CEO of Bradley & Parker Wynne Nowland penned an article for BOSS Magazine about how the insurance industry is navigating downward pressures during COVID-19. In the piece, Wynne explains several of these pressures, makes note of how sales teams have had to be resilient in their shift to virtual meetings and presentations to win new business, and provides an outlook on what the future may hold for the industry.

As Wynne explains, “For now, it is important that the insurance industry focuses on navigating through these downward pressures to keep their business stable and healthy. CEO Wynne Nowland Bylines an Article for Fast Company

Wynne Nowland, CEO of Bradley & Parker, bylined an article for Fast Company stemming from the Supreme Court’s ruling that the language of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 applies to discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity at work – a major victory for LGBTQ Americans. In her opinion piece, Wynne shares the importance of the Black Lives Matters movement, the value of an inclusive business environment and insights into her personal experience of coming out as a transgendered woman four years ago.

As Wynne shared, “Sometimes people need to be moved by circumstances to challenge their own sense of what is right and wrong, and I think most are arriving at the most beneficial conclusion. That is what those walking arm in arm against injustice and inequality have in common with the colleagues who supported me and the justices in the majority of the recent Supreme Court decision. I look forward to the day when we can reap the rewards of these courageous efforts to eradicate inequality and injustice in all their forms.”

CEO Wynne Nowland Quoted in The Wall Street Journal

We’re proud to share that The Wall Street Journal quoted Wynne Nowland, CEO of Bradley & Parker, in an article about how business travel won’t be taking off soon amid COVID-19 – and why some CEOs say that may not be such a bad thing. Alongside executives from companies like Upwork, Remington Hotels, International Flavors & Fragrances and Kimberly Clark, Wynne shares a silver lining to remote work: better sales.

Wynne notes that with the added ability to control the flow of new business presentations via Zoom, it’s actually easier to make connections with prospective customers. Although there may be a need for some face-to-face meetings down the road, we have found working from home to be considerably more efficient and don’t expect company travel to return to its previous 95% capacity anytime soon.
