We’re proud of our employees for participating in American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day by sporting their red threads to the office! This initiative rallies women, and those who love them, to take action against cardiovascular disease by wearing red all around the world this February 7.

Employee of Q1 2020
Congratulations to Kerri MacDonald, a benefit specialist in our employee benefits department, on earning the Employee of the Quarter title for the second time at our presentation and luncheon this week! As we do for all Employee of the Quarter celebrations, we continued our culinary trip around the world with food catered by Havana Central, a well-known Cuban restaurant here on Long Island. We also played our “Win Wynne’s Money” game, where lucky recipients took home $50 for answering questions and interesting facts about Cuba. Thank you to all our employees for going above and beyond in their roles and responsibilities. And a special shout out to Kerri for taking the cake!
Employee of Q4 2019
Congratulations to our employee of Q4 2019, Anthony D’Arienzo! Anthony is an insurance counselor in our sales department, and the first from his department to be recognized with this honor.
We had a great afternoon celebration with a delicious luncheon and our favorite game, “Win Wynne’s Money,” led by our CEO, Wynne Nowland.
57th Annual Long Island Heart & Stroke Ball
November 2019 marked the 57th annual Long Island Heart & Stroke Ball, a celebration of the incredible work and commitment of American Heart Association’s donors and volunteers. Attendees participated in both a silent and live auction, enjoyed a gourmet dinner, watched an award presentation and danced the night away – all while benefiting the AHA’s life-saving mission. Congratulations to the AHA and all the attendees and sponsors for the hundreds of thousands of dollars the evening raised for research and mission. What an accomplishment!
80th Anniversary Celebration
This November 2019, we celebrated our 80th anniversary with our Life is Why partners at the American Heart Association with an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and networking at the Cinema Arts Centre. The 1939 movie night special, Son of Frankenstein, was perfect for Halloween. Thank you to all our attendees for helping make the event so memorable!
